Welcome to my World

Sheherezade, the heroine from The Arabian Nights told stories for 1oo1 nights, helped by her sister, to stave off being beheaded each morning, and eventually won the heart of her husband the King who promised to let her live.

For me Sheherezade is a metaphor for my creative soul......what stories can I conjure for myself night after night to keep the creative spirit alive and burning, so I can adorn the following day with new mysteries and delights.

So it is my hope that I can fill my blog with the things that bring me pleasure, inspiration and joy. Be it art, poetry, nature, music whatever.
