I found this beautiful voice today while I was clearing some cobwebs, it sounded familiar and seemed a little lost. So I coaxed it into this bottle where it is now safely stored for you.

- My friend Iris once said to me "You know how to be happy from so many things", and I would have to say she's right, I can take delight in just about anything that is beautiful, asthetically pleaseing or sensory. the smell of a rose, the taste of cherries, a tiny fragment of stitched fabric, a moth, bones, flaked painting in an old italian church. I love stitching and the world i enter through the repetitive focus of stitching, like meditation but with an end piece. i love text and textile and where they meet and have quite a fetish for needles and pins and of course bones.
What a lovely idea, it's sooo special. I have a note book with the sayings my little ones have said over the years, it would be great to bottle them like that. It was lovely to meet you and look forward to reading your blog.Do pop by for coffee if you're ever in dartington. Jane x
